Uganda Cancer Institute Master Plan

Kampala, Uganda

The old Uganda Cancer Institute is located above Mulago Government Hospital in Kampala. With support from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, the Master Planning process led to the comprehensive redevelopment and extension plan, integrating the Institute with the Mulago Hospital campus. The campus was to be redeveloped in phases, with the new outpatient facility and laboratories as the first phase, with operations focused on the rise of AIDS related cancer in the country.
