Pax Christi is a retreat and conference centre for the Catholic Diocese of Dundee , consisting of a living and dining complex, twelve rondavels, twenty four suites and associated meeting and administration facilities. The main arch of buildings face west towards the Highveld escarpment, seen over an agricultural dam. Following a local vernacular building typology, roofs are corrugated steel, walls and face brick with joints struck flash and patterned following local basket weaving, interpreted in brick.

Wrap around verandas extend the usable space into the surrounding landscape.
