The propose complex for the Pan African Parliament, comprise a main chamber, supporting facilities, administration and offices for parliamentarians.
The site is located midway between Johannesburg and Tshwane.
A great wall holds the chamber and faces due north, open arms towards Africa, beyond South Africa. Administration i is housed in simple linear blocks with parking below and connect to the chamber and the MP’s offices.
These are clusters of circular towers with a linking atrium. The assemblage of random circular towers is emblematic of the complex debates and engagements between MPs juxtaposed against the regularity of the administration wings.
The formal approach and foreground to the complex is a great grid garden of plants, including trees and crops symbolising the diversity of landscapes across the continent.
