The hall and its associated teaching facilities are the focal building of the Luyengo campus, which accommodates the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Production.

The hall seats 600 students, is an examination hall and a multi code sports hall.

The deep veranda and colonnade face the the entrance avenue. The elevated ridge, accused from within by a catwalk enable effective natural ventilation, while the clerestory glazing allows deep natural lighting to the hall interior. The combination of clay brick facade and green roofing echo the colours of the surrounding fields and trees.
