The Court, Judges Chambers and support facilities become the north face of the old Johannesburg Goal. The Court chamber is a beacon on the ridge overlooking a sloping place of assembly; the juxtaposition of the two elelments with a meeting tree, signify the people, the law of the land and the tradition of peoples’justice.
