Mantenga Houses

Mantenga, Eswatini

Twin houses are located in a forest in Mantenga, Eswatini. The houses are have classic L shed plan forms, fronted by elevated verandas and forming green courts, with pools. Mezzanine studies have views across the courtyard and back towards a famous landmark, Executioner’s Rock. The houses are steel framed in the manner of the well known Californian Case Study houses. The entrance courts are walled by decorative brick screens.
